When is a break required?
For more than 6 and up to 9 hours at least 30 minutes, for more than 9 hours at least 45 minutes (ArbZG § 4). Up to 6 hours no break is required.
What is the maximum working time?
8 hours per working day, exceptionally up to 10 hours if the average over 24 weeks stays within 8 hours (ArbZG § 3).
How much rest is required between two working days?
As a rule at least 11 hours of uninterrupted rest (ArbZG § 5).
